British IndyCar Series driver Max Chilton will once again pilot the No. 59 Gallagher Chevrolet for Carlin Racing this season, the team announced Monday. Teammate Charlie Kimball will return to the team as well, though likely only on a part-time basis.

“I’m super excited to be back with Gallagher for my fourth year with them. It’s my second year with Carlin Racing and I’m really looking forward to the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series,” Chilton said in a video shared by the team on Facebook. “I really enjoy being part of the paddock. Gallagher really enjoy bringing their guests along, and I think it’s going to be a fantastic year all around.”

Teammate Kimball will be entering his ninth season as a competitor in the NTT IndyCar Series, again with sponsorship from Novo Nordisk. However, Kimball’s longtime sponsor will be scaling back, and it has yet to be announced which events that the 33-year-old Californian will compete in. Another driver is expected to fill out the remainder of the races where Kimball will not be present, though no driver has been announced as of Monday.

2019 will be Carlin’s sophomore season in IndyCar Series competition. The team also competes in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, FIA Formula Three European Championship, EuroFormula Open, and the BRDC British F3 Championship.

With Carlin’s announcement on Monday, Juncos Racing is the only IndyCar Series team yet to announce their driver lineup.
