For IndyCar Series fans who also love the band Muse, the weekend of March 22-24, 2019 at Circuit of The Americas will be a race weekend they will want to have circled on their calendars.

The 3.427-mile road course in Austin, TX announced on Twitter Wednesday that the two-time Grammy Award winning band would perform a concert on Saturday, March 23rd during the track’s inaugural “IndyCar Classic” race weekend.

Muse’s performance next March will not be the first time a high profile band has performed at COTA. The track has made it a tradition to host a concert during the annual United States Grand Prix Formula One weekend each fall. Past performers have included Bruno Mars, Brittany Spears, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and Elton John.

Originally from Teignmouth, England, Muse has sold over 20 million records worldwide. Popular songs by the band include “Supermassive Black Hole”, “Madness”, and “Uprising”. Their newest record, Simulation Theory, is to be released November 9th.

Tickets to the race weekend, including the concert, go on sale on Wednesday, November 14 at 10 am CT.
